Misogyny

burka12[1]

Misogyny  is the hatred or dislike of women or girls. Misogyny can be manifested in numerous ways, including sexual discrimination, denigration of women, violence against women, and sexual objectification of women. Misogyny has been characterised as a prominent feature of the mythologies of the ancient world as well as of various religions. In addition, many influential Western philosophers have been described as misogynistic. The counterpart of misogyny is misandry, the hatred or dislike of men; the antonym of misogyny is philogyny, the love or fondness of women.

It is one of the most emotionally irritating issues, which is not Islamic at all..!!
Christianity had widespread the awful treatment of women, following the harsh complicated Jewish purity concepts..

There are few practices which are condemned by Muslims as well, yet the  vast spread of illiteracy, unqualified Imams, and deep rooted masculine heritage, had collectively stereotyping the Muslims as Misogynists..

Child Brides are not Islamic, despite the controversy on Prophet PBUH marriage to Sayyada Aisha PBUH .. The recent academic research had suggested her marriage age was 18 years, instead of the commonly circulated of 9th.. The practice was well known among early Arabs of girls to marry as early as their 15th.. Islam had on parallel recommended the earlkly marriage for both boys and girls once they emotionally and biologically grown up..

Male Custodianship was commanded by Quran, and elaborated in many verses.. Despite the various accounts to defend or explain the divine verdict; it is meant to be executed rather than criticized.. Certainly, both genders are not equal emotionally or physically, despite the intellectual capacities of both.. However, the folkloric evidences since dawn of time tell how females were dignified, comforted and cared off in trading off nurturing men, reproduction and managing the households.. Feminism is criticized for imbalances of families and communities as well, while the continuous recruitment of women as sex tools increased by market economies.. This would be corresponding to the unequal legal weighting of women in judiciary, inheritance, commanding and occupations..

FGM (Female Genital Molestation) is a current concern for its psychological, health and social implications, which was not Islamic, but was common among the populations who had converted to Islam.. Arabia,  North Africa, and Sindh valley were the hubs for this traditional practice.. As a matter of fact, males of this communities are execratively sexually demanding more than others, which had created lots of personal and social behavioral patterns that survive till date..

Ultra-Orthodox Jewish Men Refuse To Sit By Women On Plane – Flight Gets Delayed

At what point does religious freedom infringe upon the rights of others? Apparently, when the misogyny of extreme religious adherence wins out over the rights of women and of passengers on a commercial aircraft.

Last week, on the eve of Rosh Hashanah and on the start of Jewish High Holidays (the holiest time of the year) an El Al Air flight from New York to Tel Aviv was delayed when several ultra-Orthodox Jewish men refused to sit next to women.

According to the passengers who were on the plane, their fellow ultra-Orthodox travelers refused to sit next to women prior to the takeoff, which not only delayed the flight, but caused actual chaos to ensue on the plane.

“People stood in the aisles and refused to go forward,” said Amit Ben-Natan, a passenger who was on board the plane.

    Killed Honor or Honor Killing..!!

I’m not sure which “Honor” they are talking about??
A big dilemma among Muslims that they confused Islam with Local culture, producing an ugly misinterpretation that cripple them, future and other Muslims as well..
The campaign against the said violence should be mature and led by open minded, well equipped and truly Muslim scholars..
Regretfully, it seems there is no such brand of people anymore..!!

Did 22-year-old Saima Bibi scream out as she was electrocuted at her parents’ home in their village near the southern Punjab city of Bahawalpur in Pakistan? Did she plead with her family for her life? Did she seek mercy?

The answers to these questions will never be known. In one of the most harrowing “honour” killings reported in recent months in the country, Saima was, according to media reports, murdered by her relatives. They committed the crime following a ruling by a gathering of village elders that she be put to death by electrocution for eloping with a man she had chosen to marry. Police are investigating the murder and the prime minister has ordered the findings be submitted urgently.

An autopsy report states the girl had died due to severe burn injuries. Her relatives had said she had committed suicide. A police officer in Hakra village, where Saima died, Afzal Lodhi, told IRIN “a raid was conducted to recover Saima’s body” after police received a tip-off over the phone.

Murders of the kind which ended Saima’s life are not uncommon. According to the autonomous Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP), over 600 women were killed for “honour” in 2009. This usually entails the murder of women suspected of having sexual relations outside marriage; choosing who to marry rather than accepting decisions made by families; or behaving in other ways that are seen as “immoral”. Other “honour” killings go unreported, especially when they take place in remote, rural areas.

    Rapping Female Detainees..

Throughout history, capturing, enslaving or rapping the women of the enemies, rivals and/or opponents was a common practice since the dawn of time.. Women are treated as assets of those worriers, target to be seized, destructed or damaged.. Just another military tool in any brutal fight for any cause.. Of course, pretty women were sexually enslaved, announced as mistresses or sold for higher prices.. The luckiest women will be kept relatively honored to breed; particularly if they are healthier, more feminine and/or belong to distinct social ranks.. Women were associates of war, with different loss and gain logarithms.. They knew and lived long time with this fact..!

With evolution, philosophers had called for some measures, to regularize these barbaric actions.. In fact, those measures were never meant for dignifying the women, but the worriers.. They were meant to avoid disturbing the performance of the defending worriers if their women would be hurt by the enveloped rivals.. Men couldn’t accept a woman; who had been molested, rapped or temporarily hidden away from their care.. Men historically had deliberately hide, denounce or ignore these facts.. and probably still do till today..!

So, these brilliant measures or the code of war, were never meant to protect the helpless women.. This would interpret the ancient traditions to bury women along with their dead husbands.. A well known practice in ancient Africa, Asia and some parts of Europe and the Americas.. Also, military historians had never bothered to track violent incidents against women; as been considered as inevitable losses.. Ironically, the violence against women during wars was the root of ethnic evolution as well as behavior disorders; which both are extended to various issues in our modern urban life..!

Rapping women was the most celebrated form to practically announce victory or defeat.. The concept of free exercising of women had traveled to many aspects of human socialization.. In far east, women were presented to the gusts as utmost gesture of hospitality.. It could be the wife, the daughter or the maid.. Almost everywhere among the rulers; women are traded for peace and diplomacy.. Till date the same practice is common among monarchies and dynasties.. Among some African tribes, women are given to elders, witchdoctors and leaders.. Everywhere, women are forcible or volunteer sex-workers.. In modern urban environments, women are harassed in work places, public places, and army units.. Most husbands don’t ask the wives for their consent to make love.. Generally, women have no single control on their own bodies..!

Such a global culture of downgrading women, structures the potential brutality by any man with authority.. Rapping women in detention is notoriously known among law enforcement officers in all underdeveloped countries.. Also, widely spread among politicians and civic officers worldwide.. The rapped women are too humiliated and ashamed to file complaints, nevertheless to speak about their agony.. As much as rapping women was a live-with tradition of the past, people had equally retaliated.. Today, while rapping is never equal, never associated with worriers, and/or never mutually retaliated; it became a deeper psychological disorder of loss situation..!

The concluding fact of today: Rapists are neither worriers nor defenders, but male beasts.. Victims are neither rewards nor associates of war, but females with heavy burdens..!

A Sudanese fellow had posted a clip; warning people (particularly men) from the frauds over faulty hymen restoration surgery, which enables non-virgin girls to claim modest.. This had recalled an attempt 35 years ago; to campaign against the paradoxical concept of virginity, commonly known among my folks.. While girls should restrictedly be virgin on their wedding event, men are implicitly accepted to have the “experience” to improve their potency..!!

Chastity belt reminds me with such psychopathic contradiction; which is not supported by any faith or logic.. It is a claim to hide the awkward obscenity within our cultural genes.. Despite the notorious fame that it is a device made for females; most of the people don’t know; that the “Chastity Belt” had had two versions: one for female use, and another for male use..!!

Ironically; the Renaissance had witnessed the creation of the chastity belts; parallel to all intellectual achievements.. As how these were used to affirm the chastity of females, they also affirmed control over the sexual behavior of their males.. Both were shameful marks of the Mankind; whereas obsession of the biological kinship and guarding the females were direct reflections of masculine centuries of adultery, rape, abuse, and humiliating retaliations..

The same obsession stills alive till date, while declining by urbanism, it is very much in control among rural areas, religious groups and underdeveloped countries.. Luckily, the hygiene concerns had ended the use of chastity belts in early 1900th.. On parallel, throughout history; restricted traditions and informal penal codes, including the “Honor-Killings”, are shacking morals and identities..

Today’s DNA tests can affirm the biological kinship; divorced women are no longer a curse to marry; and more information is circulated on hymen natural disorders.. Therefore, the whole practice is eventually reduced to only guard the females’ genital organs..

In the Western hemisphere; intensive sexual education curriculum’s and media became norms.. Despite how virginity became an issue with minimal concern, interruption of kinship became a typical nightmares and source of instability among married couples and families.. However; developed legislatures had renounced the subject from moralities into legalities..

Among the conservative world; surgical restoration of hymen became profitable business.. Apart from intercourse, all techniques of sexual intimacy are almost a common know-how.. While men are the sole consumers for sex trades, they practice severe schizophrenic attitudes towards their female relatives.. Simply; most women became silent victims and sex-related patients; while responsible to raise the wonderful kids..!!

Despite the claims of the feminists, the legacy of human race tells how females were always commodities among trading, fighting or reconciling males.. Exchanging females as gifts was commonly known among Monarchs; Merchants and Commanders.. Slave females had reshaped the ethnic maps much more than the rapist invaders.. As how Mankind was always speechless in front of the birth phenomenon, he had early realized how this process is attached to his psychology and culture frameworks..

It is greatly confusing how an intellectual educated male will deny an equal experience from the female he claims loving or proposing to marry..??

No one can deny the amount of distress, depression and humiliation our females are exposed to during their lives.. Such practices are common across all social categories and ranks.. They are associated with lots of emotional and physical abuse, as if wives are constantly raped by their own husbands..!!
Simply, Women suffer in dark silence; while who would dare to object; will be notoriously named.. Unless such sex-related stereotype changes, lots of silent agony, hurt and suppression will continue to breed our psychopathic new comers.. !!

Then everyone wonders: Why we are declining..!!

Guys: If the hymen is a female-trap; it is a male-illusion..!

    In response to: Mona AlTahawi’s

Her name came out during the Egyptian upraising of 2011; I assumed been one of the new wishful Egyptian intelligentsia.. I guess I was wrong, as part of Feminism is another form of Extremism..!!

The general theme among the female commentators on Mona AlTahawi’s piece, was that sense of discomfort on what she had composed.. This reflects not only the intellectual deviation she illustrated by reducing Muslim women causes to be Egyptian or Saudi; but also how she had addressed those critical issues without epistemic referrals or knowledge..

She did not advise on solution of those topics she pinpointed, only a cliché actions that already included in all acting NGOs, lobbies and political parties.. As how her article was hot, fierce and flammable; there were no innovative or breathtaking solutions provided.. Another episode of systematic “ejaculations” form the so-called intellectual elite..

For me, any sort of hysterical expression is a sort of extremism, as simply crosses the parameters of logic, order and/or epistemia.. Avoiding the controversial definition of civilization, I tend, professionally and logically to refer to the urbanism as an umbrella of progressive citizenship, whereas individuals would intelligently exercise their receipts, contributions and expressions within a vision to add value, not to ignite unnecessary and unhealthy hallucinations..

The 3rd world will not stand up by that simple destruction of stigmas and taboos; which are too many.. But by scientific and intellectual approaches that would highly consider the recipients rather than the activists..

Between self-polishing on media stages and self-struggle on grounds of need; there are great divides and vast mazes..!

    Why Do They Hate Us?
Some may ask why I’m bringing this up now, at a time when the region has risen up, fueled not by the usual hatred of America and Israel but by a common demand for freedom. After all, shouldn’t everyone get basic rights first, before women demand special treatment? And what does gender, or for that matter, sex, have to do with the Arab Spring? But I’m not talking about sex hidden away in dark corners and closed bedrooms. An entire political and economic system — one that treats half of humanity like animals — must be destroyed along with the other more obvious tyrannies choking off the region from its future. Until the rage shifts from the oppressors in our presidential palaces to the oppressors on our streets and in our homes, our revolution has not even begun.
