By Jalaluddin Muhammad Rumi!/mevlana

Love is my religion and my faith

Only you
I choose among the entire world.
Is it fair of you
letting me be unhappy?
My heart is a pen in your hand.

It is all up to you
to write me happy or sad.
I see only what you reveal
and live as you say.

All my feelings have the color
you desire to paint.
From the beginning to the end,
no one but you.

Please make my future
better than the past.

When you hide I change
to a Godless person,
and when you appear,
I find my faith.

Don’t expect to find
any more in me
than what you give.

Don’t search for
hidden pockets because
I’ve shown you that
all I have is all you gave.

  1. adilsud says:

  2. adilsud says:

The light which shines in the eye is really the light of the heart. The light which fills the heart is the light of God.

  3. adilsud says:

  4. adilsud says:

  5. adilsud says:

    LOVE is the bridge
    between you and everything!

  6. adilsud says:

  7. adilsud says:

  8. adilsud says:

I have lived on the lip of insanity. Wanting to know reasons. Knocking on a door, it opens. I have been knocking from the inside.

  9. adilsud says:

    Don’t grieve.
Anything you lose comes round in another form

  10. adilsud says:

    I borrow nothing.
I don’t want anything from anybody.
    I flow through human beings.
    Love is my only companion.

  11. adilsud says:

    Everyone sees the unseen in
proportion to the clarity of his heart.

  12. adilsud says:

If you can’t smell the fragrance
Don’t come into the garden of Love.
    If you’re unwilling to undress
Don’t enter into the stream of Truth.
    Stay where you are.
    Don’t come our way.

  13. adilsud says:

When the world pushes you to your knees,
you are in the perfect position to pray.

  14. adilsud says:

If you wish to be a mine of jewels,
open the deep ocean within your heart.

  15. adilsud says:

In your light, I learn how to love.
In your beauty, how to make poems.
    You dance inside my chest,
    where no one sees you.

  16. adilsud says:

    Learn the alchemy True Humans know;
The moment you accept what troubles you’ve been given,
    The door will open.

  17. adilsud says:

I merged so completely with Love and was so fused, that I became Love, and Love became me.

  18. adilsud says:

The expression of letter ‘WaW’; which is in reference to Al-Wadoud..
    “The Loving”..
The symbol is sufi way of ‘balance/harmony’.

Also single “WaW” represents Mevlana’s sitting position..
    Lot of meanining isnt it?
I heard a story of A wise man mentioned in the Qur’an who place his head down in front of a “WaW”..
Lot to talk about Adil, but the core is “LoVE”..
It is said ‘ if the “Alif” is key to the universe, the “WaW” is the universe itself..’

  19. adilsud says:

  20. adilsud says:

    Hardship may dishearten at first,
    but every hardship passes away.
All despair is followed by hope
all darkness is followed by sunshine.

  21. adilsud says:

    Come again, please, come again,
    Whover you are.
    Religious, infidel, heretic or pagan.
Even if you promised a hundred times
And a hundred times you broke your promise,

This door is not the door,
    Of hopelessness and frustration.
This door is open for everybody.
    Come, come as you are.

  22. adilsud says:

    Dance, when you’re broken open.
Dance, if you’ve torn the bandage off.
Dance in the middle of the fighting.
    Dance in your blood.
    Dance when you’re perfectly free

  23. adilsud says:

I cannot sleep when I am with you,
    Because of your love.
    I cannot sleep without you,
Because of my screaming and yelling.
I am awake on both night,
But what a difference in between.

  24. adilsud says:

There was a dawn I remember
when my soul heard something from your soul.
I drank water from your spring
and felt the current take me in.

  25. adilsud says:

    When I’m with you;
    Everything is a Prayer..

  26. adilsud says:

    Inside the great mystery that is;
    We don’t really own anything..
    What is this competition we feel then;
Before we go,, one at a time, through the same gate..?

  27. adilsud says:

    My soul is from elsewhere..
    I’m sure of that;
and I intend to end up there..!

  28. adilsud says:

Why do you stay in prison when the door is so wide open?

  29. adilsud says:

I once had a thousand desires, but in my one desire to know you all else melted away.

  30. adilsud says:

    I don’t know where I’m going
    You’re the road
    and the knower of roads
more than maps, more than love.

  31. adilsud says:

Bring anger and pride under your feet,
Turn them into a ladder and climb higher.
